You learn in personal development that life is a journey, not a destination.
There has been a lot written about this subject and why it is so powerful, but I believe it to be very simple.
For those of you that are new to personal development let me explain what it means. It’s being present in the moment, the next moment, and so on. Just simple observing what is going on around you and not being judgemental about wether is good or bad, right or wrong, pretty or ugly. So what’s so powerful about it. When your really in that state of mind it allows you to access your subconscious mind. This puts you in a state of allowing. A thought will just pop into your head on an issue or problem you might have thought about in the past with a solution to it, or maybe you have never considered something before that could represent a complete new opportunity.
One of the more memorable and most rewarding thoughts for me when I was in that state, was one morning while sitting at our lake at the time and observing all that was around me a thought popped into my head in the form of a question. You’re going to Australia in 6 months, why aren’t you marketing there? From that thought has now spawned the largest distributor base for our company.
Bottom line is, being in the now, in the moment puts you in a state of allowing.

Great post Michael,
There’s nothing like being present to all the potential and opportunities that this moment can offer us, and simply allowing ourselves to receive these gifts and act on them, rather than our normal tendency to effort, force and to control events around us in our rush to get somewhere else. Being open to the here and now is also more fun!
Thank you for the post and for sharing the link,
Johneal
Thank you Maggie.
