The Pull of Your North Star

You learn in personal development that life is a journey, not a destination.

What I have discovered in personal development is that you must have a North Star, a guiding light, something you’re really passionate about. Maybe it’s the product or service you represent, maybe you’re passionate about changing people’s lives, maybe it’s a charity; whatever it is, you must discover your passion and then pursue that.

The more clearly you begin to see and focus on your North Star, the more quickly you will begin to experience some of the magic the universe has to offer. Keep your eyes and mind open to expect situations and opportunities to present themselves that can help you along the way. You will actually attract people, situations, experiences, and circumstances in different and surprising combinations that may be exactly what you need to move toward your North Star.

I call this the Pull of Your North Star.

This is, quite literally, the appearance of opportunities and adversities that you bring toward yourself in direct alignment with your goals and dreams. Every goal, every dream, every destination or accomplishment brings with it the risks and rewards or the opportunities and adversities associated with it. As you steadfastly hold your North Star to your mind and depart in it’s direction, you will experiance the Pull of Your North Star naturally and automatically.

Expect it as confirmation you are on your way!

Exercise: Saying to yourself “What I deserve is (YOUR GOAL)” repeatedly throughout the day will be helpful in revealing the direction you would like your life to be heading. Listen to the answers that come up and write them down.

I am a former CEO of a company and then owned my own consulting business. Over 9 years ago I made the decision that even though I was making that 6 figure income, I was not happy. I had a beautiful piece of property on Lake Conroe and a wonderful wife and I was never here to enjoy both. I had to find a way to stay home. I got involved in numerous multilevel marketing (MLM) programs and quite honestly lost a lot of money. A personal development company found me. Thank God it did. I am now able to be at home as much as I choose and truly enjoy the lifestyle I now have. Their program has taught me that I have the power to create anything in my life. And in fact we're now traveling all around California, staying on the beach to the mountains. This business is so portable, you just need the internet and a cell phone.

    Thank you for the sensible critique. Me & my neighbour were preparing to do some research about that. We got a good book on that matter from our local library and most books where not as influensive as your information.
