An important part of the Polaris family of businesses headed up by Greg Strom, Shane Krider and Rachel Oliver is creating a series of awareness raising documentaries. For each of our Documentaries a portion of the proceeds is being donated to a charity relevant to that specific film. These charities include: For Kids with Cameras – Actors for Autism, For Unbeaten – Wounded Warriors & Challenged Athletes Foundation, and For Surfing with the Enemy – Havana Surf Association
Here’s the deal. In my effort to continue to give back I invite you to purchase any or all of the documentaries and I’ll give my profits to the charity of your choice or refund them (Pay Pal) directly back to you, your choice. I guarantee you’ll feel enlightened, empowered, and grateful when you watch these international award wining videos.
Kidswith Cameras (To see a trailer

Kids With Cameras follows the progress, challenges and triumphs of a group of children with autism and Aspergers syndrome participating in a film camp hosted by non-profit Actors for Autism, and taught by award-winning educator Brad Koepenick. This one-hour documentary provides a window into revealing moments of the kids private lives combined with interviews with their families as they learn to express themselves through creating films, poems, painting and music together. Recent research as well as testimonials from parents of the kids indicates that developing the creative and acting abilities of autistic children significantly improves their communication and socialization skills.
Directed by Alex Rotaru and presented by Polaris, Kids With Cameras takes viewers on an unforgettable journey of this process, poignantly demonstrating that creativity is an essential step to connect the increasing autistic population with the rest of their world, and ours.

Unbeaten(To see a trailer http://www.unbeatenthemovie.com/)
Unbeaten, the second film from award-winning documentary filmmaker Steven C. Barber, is an inspirational story that chronicles the exploits of 31 disabled athletes as they make their way over six days in wheelchairs and hand cycles in what is known as the toughest road racein the world, “Sadlers Alaska Challenge.” The course winds 267 miles through the
mountain passes of Denali National Park between Fairbanks and Anchorage.
The film takes us into the 55 mile-per-day grind of three wheelchair racers, Chris Kohler, Geoffrey Erickson and Edwin Figueroa. The story transitions midway through as the filmmaker follows the elite racers of the US Paralympics squad, Oz Sanchez (current Paralympic Gold Medalist and fastest man in the world in a hand cycle) and Alejandro Albor (Silver Medalist) in their quest to medal at the 2008 Beijing Paralympics.
Vanilla Fire Productions has teamed up with Polaris to raise the profile of the disabled athlete and disabled persons worldwide.
The three year odyssey to finish the film came with the help of some very high profile individuals, including Steve Forbes, Eli Broad, Boone Pickens, Cher, Billy Jean King, Tony Hawk, Clint Black, Paula and Sumner Redstone, Larry Hagman, Pamela Anderson and Steve Jobs. Partial proceeds from this film will be given to the Challenged Athletes Foundation.Only $24.95 + $4.95 Shipping & Handling with my donation or refund being $4.80

Surfing with the Enemy (To see a trailer
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Khsau9MzbnQ)
Surfing With The Enemy tells the story of a small group of surfers in Havana, Cuba, struggling to establish a niche for their sport in Cubas restrictive and resource-poor society. They do this in the face of a unique, sobering fact: those who choose to surf off Cubas coast are subject to arrest, as they are considered a breach of national maritime security for the small island nation.
The film begins in Havana, where we meet a group of 20-something guys and girls who are determined to surf the waves that surround the island. In some places, surfing is exceedingly rare if not unprecedented. They sleep on rooftops and hit the water at dawn, keeping ahead of the authorities as they make their way around the Cuban shoreline. Their risk is real; their experience exhilarating!
Surfing With The Enemy explores the wide disparity between a subculture of Cuban youth contrasted with official positions espoused by government representatives. This remarkable film takes to the road, presenting a rare view of rural Cuba, and ultimately reaching the mouth of the Yumuri River in the ill-famed Guantanamo Province, home of some of Cuba’s best waves and one of the first places where Columbus landed in the New World.
In ways never before seen, Surfing With The Enemy profiles a unique group of individuals struggling to live their dreams; to uncover the surfing potential of this unexplored island nation; to provide a glimpse at what life is like for citizens of modern-day Cuba; and to encourage the audience to consider the underlying themes of youth vs. authority, freedom vs. restriction, and the power of sports to break down boundaries of all kinds.
