I started using blog.com for my hosting over a year ago and did not have any problems with them until 2 months ago when I started getting

I’m not here to complain, I hate negativity, but I’ve built this blog to be very popular so I’m just passing on the warning to prevent any of you or your friends from using them and to pass along some advice. When you’re researching a blog provider one way is to go to Alexa And check the reviews but more importantly their average load time. If I had I would have discovered

Very Slow (3.112 Seconds), 82% of sites are faster.

When I think of personal development the one thing that comes up for me is that people tend to over complicate it. Personal development is really simple to me, but I also tend to over complicate it from time to time. Being a student of personal development is, in my words:

1. First and foremost in personal developmentt you must believe without reservation that you are creating your life through your thoughts and take complete responsibility for it. 2. In personal development you believe you were created in the image of the creator (God or whatever your belief). Thusly you believe you can create anything in time. You can create your goals.

4. In personal development you train your mind to think positive thoughts. If you have a negative thought you replace it immediately with a positive thought. The one most important item in personal development. Before I start every day I make an affirmation “I am deeply grateful for all the joy, magic, miracles, and abundance that have come my way.” Then I think of all the things I am grateful for. Really dig deep for all the things you’re grateful for no matter how insignificant they are, the more the better.

Next I make this affirmation “I am deeply grateful for all the joy, magic, miracles, and abundance coming my way today, this year, and the next.” Then I go through my goals.

Some years ago when I was going through some rather tough times the one factor that started my turnaround was being grateful for what I had in that moment. I was alive, putting food on the table, had my health, and so on.

It’s been stated that only 3% of network marketers are successful. Why is this success rate is so low as compared to other businesses, or is it?

It’s not just in network marketing that people are failing. In my opinion to be thought of as being successful in any business you have to be making at least $200k per year (not the old $100k). If you look at the US, the 2007 statistic are that only 2.67% of the people are making over $200k. Now let’s look at entrepreneurs in brick and mortar businesses. For those businesses having less than 20 employees only 9% survive 10 years or more. Bottom line, being an entrepreneur is easier than you think, but and here’s the big but. People fail or give up because they do not have an absolute burning desire to succeed. If they did, they would never give up. For me my burning desire was not to have to go back to a job again. I had made it to what most people believe to be the pinnacle of success, the CEO of a major corporation. I was making a multiple 6 figure income, but was never home. I had no time freedom to spend with my wife. So since I made it to the top and  saw what it looked like, there was nowhere else to go but become an entrepreneur.

A lot of people say they understand the Law of Attraction, but often ask me how they can get it working for them to attract what they desire in their lives vs what they don’t want in their lives. I have some suggestions.

Start by looking around you and see all the abundance. Depending on where you live, look at all the blades of grass, trees, cars, buildings, stars; you get the idea. Now start to have the feeling of abundance yourself because it is truly an abundant World.  When you start feeling all the abundance then think or ask for your request and don’t try to figure out how it will come to you just “allow” it to be brought to you. You may have to take some action which may be presented to you in some very obscure way and probably will occur while you’re thinking of something else.

Think about this. When you have had something really wonderful happen in your life did it come to you the way you thought it would? I’ll bet you would say “I never dreamed in a million years it would come to me that way.” Well stop trying to figure out the how it will come to you because it will take a million years.

“We all see and experience the World, not as it is, but as we are.” It’s my favorite quote, because I know we attract people and circumstances into our lives every day because of what we expect. Some people have a difficult time understanding this. A little humorous story might assist you.

There was once a farmer who lived on the edge of town right off the main road. One day this farmer was mending his fences when a wagon came rolling up. It appeared to be a new family moving into town. There wasn’t one single space anywhere on that wagon that didn’t have a box strapped to it, or a blanket rolled up, or a frying pan hanging. As the wagon got nearer a man on the wagon called out.

“Howdy. We’re thinking of relocating to this town. Do you mind me asking what sort of folks live in these parts”?

The farmer called back, “What were the people like where you came from?”

“Not a kind bunch,” said the newcomer. “They’d stab you in the back just as soon as look at ya.”

“Well, that’s exactly the kind of folks you’ll find here.”

It wasn’t more than an hour or so later when another wagon approached, looking much like the last. It was another family looking to put down some roots in town.

“We’re fixing to move into town. We were wondering what kind of people we’ll find here,” says the man sitting on the wagon.

“What were the people like where you came from,” asked the farmer.

“Oh, they were wonderful! Any one of ‘em would give you the shirt off his back.” said the newcomer.

Then the farmer said, “Well, that’s exactly the kind of folks you’ll find here.”

Was the farmer lying to the others. No, he just knew that they would experience the town folks like they were expecting them to be and would automatically attract those people to them.

While I’m on the subject, a few additional items as food for thought. Anyone can generate a ton of leads by giving away free stuff. But is that who you’re looking for as a prospect for your business? Are you looking for lots of leads or quality leads? The majority of purchased leads are generated by offering free stuff and to make matters worse reselling them. If you’re going to purchase leads my advise is to ask exactly what adds were used to generate them.

My long term advise is to find ways to generate your own leads. Every truly successful entrepreneur has done this and I suggest you do the same. There are no quick fixes to generating quality leads. YOU are the Greatest Lead Generating System.

I first of all comment and share on my group, then I set a goal on Sunday of how many sites I’m going to share and how many comments I’m going to make. I keep an ongoing text file for the week that keeps me on track with the spread sheet which has what line I’m on for both shares and comments so I know where I am for the following day. I only share sites that use Onlywire (maximizes my effort) and never those that are just promoting their business but sharing something of value to me and others. I comment on posts that I find value in and it may not be the current one. I’ll check their other posts for ones that resonate with me and I can find value in. This is important because I learn something from each of these posts and I don’t fell like I’m wasting my time.
